Level 1 Iyengar Yoga Teacher

My Story

I started practising yoga 25 years ago.

I was introduced to Iyengar yoga shortly after having my third child, to help alleviate severe lower back pain and manage high blood pressure. The focus and concentration that Iyengar yoga required was a useful break from the chaos of everyday life, and by submerging myself, I drew huge benefits.

 

I want to share the experience of Iyengar yoga through precise and clear instructions to help every student work to the best of their own capabilities. My aim is for every student to leave my class feeling more space and balance in their physical and mental body.


I completed my Level 1 Iyengar teacher training in Africa and the Middle East and qualified in 2018. I have attended the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Institute in Pune, India, twice.

Since returning to the UK in 2020, I continue to enjoy practising and teaching locally in North London.
